Trumpet:
Chris P.
Chris grew up with brass instruments, his father and brother are both brass players. He’s been playing with Kevin and Ben since the band’s inception, and that shows in their musical rapport and the relaxed relationship when they play. Chris has been influenced by Chet Baker, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard and Miles Davis, not least in the choice and style of numbers in the set-list. He’s also accumulated a range of trumpets, cornets and related brass instruments, to help express the different dynamics of the music. His wife expresses her own views on this collection but we won’t go any further into that…
Bass:
Kevin C.

Just like the stereotype, I have a day job and 2 children, but that doesn't diminish my passion for Jazz Music. A relatively late comer to the bass, I used to play keyboards before.

My influences are from the likes of Brubeck and Getz, brought about by my mother's vinyl collection from the 1960's, but I embrace a wide musical interest from Bach to Bill Evans.
